Marel’s Sensor X Smart short detection system is the best solution on the market for detecting bones and foreign bodies in products such as chicken, turkey and red meat. The product is placed on the feed conveyor belt, which comes to the Sensor X machine, where the products are scanned and imaged. The image is analyzed by Marel’s special software and checked for bones and foreign bodies. Products that do not contain foreign bodies or bones are advanced to the exit belt. The products, which contain any foreign body or bones are removed from the flow automatically and fall into a crate at the exit of the system.
