The VAKI Nano Counter provides commercial aquaculture operators with highly-accurate counting of fish from as small as 0.05g. The Nano Counter has very high capacity 200,000 fish per hour at 1g size.

The VAKI Exel Counter is the biggest fish counter in the Macro Range. It has a 120cm wide counting area and has 25% higher capacity than the standard Macro, wireless Internet, logging system and a faster camera connection. The Exel Counter can be delivered both as single or 4 channels. This range of counters is based on a scanning camera and computer vision. The fish are carried gently in water through the scanning area where the outlines are recorded. Custom software is used to analyze and count each image. Even at maximum capacity the counter is extremely accurate – over 99%.

The VAKI Pico Counters are designed for accurate, high speed counting of fry in 2,5”, 4” and 6” fullwater pipe. The Pico Counters are easily deployed and maintain high accuracy. The Pico Counter has all the benefits of the complete Macro Counter Range with remote online support, count reports and image recording for count validation. The Pico Counter is available for all non-transparent fish and has proven to be one of the best shrimp counters available.

The VAKI Pipeline Counter (PLC) is installed in a pipeline from a grading machine or on the end of the pipe into a tank. Most often the PLC is being used for counting fish when being pumped either from a pen to a wellboat when delivering fish for harvesting, or when fish are pumped from one pen to another under grading or splitting of the cages. PLC can also be used at the outlet of a grading machine. The fish are counted as they pass through the counter using infra-red light beams that form a grid inside the scanner. For every fish pumped through the scanner, the grid is broken and an image of the fish is generated. The image is then used to count the fish.
